Maypole

Maypole, located in Wheaton, IL, is an all-new restaurant concept with familiar Filipino-American roots.

Conceived by the bold, boisterous minds behind the Chicago suburb’s most iconic restaurants (Subourbon, 302 Wheaton, Blackberry Market, Shane’s Deli… the list goes on), Maypole invites guests into a warm experience of comfort, connection, and curiosity—in each bite, in each sip, in each seat.

Former Colleagues partnered with the founders to establish the concept, identity, and interior design of this iconic destination, including renovating an almost century-old building into a vibrant expression Filipino-American liveliness, with a touch of Parisian refinement and Scandinavian iconography.

Then, by linking arms with one of Chicago’s most sought-after designers, Former Colleagues built the brand around a ribbon-inspired logo and a series of hand-drawn illustrations.

Maypole has already become a fixture of Wheaton’s booming restaurant scene, where everyone is invited to grab a ribbon and join in the fun.
